
Specialization: With close to 30 years experience in the economic development profession, Larry has assisted many communities and businesses with strategic and business planning. During his tenure in economic and business development, Larry has worked closely with business leaders, elected officials at all levels of government and a variety of community groups and organizations.
Larry is committed to professional development and has attained the professional designation of Certified Economic Developer (Ec. D.). He continues to mentor and train others who are striving to attain the professional designation, working closely with the University of Waterloo and the Economic Developers Association of Canada. He is a strong leader, with great communication skills and the knowledge to get your community or business working at its peak. He is knowledgeable in government programs and services, small business counseling, strategic and business planning, and facilitating group or organizational plans.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan Larry is an avid curling fan. He served as a volunteer on the organizing committee for the Continental Cup, an international curling event hosted in St Albert in January, 2011.
